As a physically active outdoors thrill seeker, I am usually on a surfboard in the ocean, hiking through the forests, flying to other countries or riding on a motorcycle most days. With all the constant travel, I needed to alleviate the toxins that come with living in our modern world while relieving the stress and still having a signature scent that is intoxicating.
Amber is known to refresh one’s skin and rejuvenate the growth of new cells, thereby lending anti-aging benefits for the skin. Amber also soothes the mind and helps fight problems such as depression, anxiety and stress. It is also a good source of healthy negative ions when applied to the skin. Amber reduces inflammation internally and externally and can soothe pain due to its analgesic properties and can speed healing. Amber is also an anti-oxidant and is believed to prevent the aging of human cells.
Our Nomad balm also contains a healthy dose of MSM cream which is an organic source of sulfur. Sulfur is found in all cells and tissues and is critical to the healthy of our skin and nails (in addition to bones and joints.) MSM may improve the integrity and resilience of the skin and collagen tissue while offering antioxidant protection. This particular MSM includes citricidal (derived from the seed and pulp of grapefruit) to limit bacterial contamination.
Included in our balm is Omega 3 oils to reinforce the cell membranes so that there is a healthy barrier which yields more moisture, softer, more subtle and wrinkle free skin.
